This past week has been like whoa. So much going on and I’ve been feeling progressively more craptastic. I don’t know if it’s the lack of sleep or what but I feel pretty terrible a lot of the time. Saturday, I couldn’t even get out of bed for more than a few hours before having to crawl right back in. I still couldn’t sleep but I couldn’t function in an upright position. This had me a bit concerned about yesterday’s relay race and how I would feel going into that. I knew that I’d likely be walking most of it and I was ok with that but I didn’t want to feel horrid the entire time either.
Thankfully, I woke up Sunday morning feeling much better and the race went much better than expected (more on that another day). By the evening, I was feeling the same again. Exhausted but not sleepy. More like I just wanted to sit or lie down and not move for a good week or so. I’ve also been getting some serious Braxton Hicks. I started having them about a month ago, around the same time as I did with Mr. O. but these ones are way more intense. At the joys of pregnancy. It’s a good thing I’m nearly to my third trimester. The homestretch is coming!
This week, I have no idea what will happen. I’m just taking it day by day and letting my body dictate how much I can do and when I can do it. It’s another busy week around the house so I need to save my energy for running around with my kiddos.
