Mayhem Monday: The studying edition

With my exam coming up on Thursday, I’m entering into crunch time (and possibly panic mode) to get my studying time in while going to work and not neglecting my kids or home too much. This will be a very high caffeine week. I make no apologies for that. Come Thursday afternoon, I will be one relieved Mama bear. Or I will be sobbing hysterically if I flunk. Either way, methinks there will be wine. The detox starts Friday.

That said, I’ll keep things relatively short: I did zero meal prep this week in favor of using that time to study. This means that we will be eating a lot of random things this week for dinners because the focus will be on short, easy, and (hopefully) edible. If Hubby is left in charge, most meals just may come in a pizza box. I can’t say that I’m entirely opposed to that at this point.

I’ve been cleared (again) to run. As much as I want within limit. I didn’t get a chance to test that out this weekend for 4 reasons: Studying (sensing the theme of this week?), mandatory work Saturday as we approach year end and need to get butt loads of stuff done (all the more reason scheduling an exam in December was probably pretty dumb on my part), it was minus three bazillion outside and my winter run gear only gets me through to about minus 15-20 (for real), and I realized my runners are at work. Awesome. (I’m also writing this Sunday night). The plan is to run on Monday (today for those reading), Yoga Tuesday, study Wednesday, write my exam Thursday, run Friday, swim Saturday and sleep ALL DAY on Sunday.

On that note, I need to get back to studying and consuming my favorite study foods and sending hubby to stock up on antacids and various other stomach remedies to combat angry stressed out tummy.

Have a great week!
