In working with FitFluential and Under Armour for What’s Beautiful, I’ve not only been inspired in my own journey to be a better, stronger more mentally focus athlete but also been drawn into the stories of all the thousands of women also signed up to bring their A-game to the forefront. If you ever want to be inspired by what women can do, spend some time on the What’s Beautiful site and you’ll be blown away by the goals that are being declared and achieved on a daily basis.
Last week I highlighted 5 amazing women who are striving toward and accomplishing some pretty awesome things. This week I’m giving you 5 more athletes who are reeking of awesomeness (and maybe some B.O. as well…what? I can’t be the only one…)
Jill C: Run 35 miles on a 2-person team in a 12 hour relay. (Wow. #thatisall)
Laura P: For 2013: My big goals are a sub-20 5k and a 3:20 full marathon in the fall. I also want to improve core strength and hold a 5 minute plank. (duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude! This is one speedy lady!)
Lisa D: I want to help inspire other mothers to carve a little time for themselves every day for fitness and their well-being (Yes!!! Our littlest ones are nearly the same age…I TOTALLY need Lisa to help push me on those days when I just don’t wanna move)
Nicole T: Remember that Attitude is Everything (How often do I need to remind myself of this?!)
Liana K: Run 500 miles this summer (June-August) (I don’t even think I ran that much all of last year. The only thing more awesome than Liana’s goal is this awesome pic of her finishing her first marathon!)
