I was supposed to do this week’s workout on Thursday last week (I like to try them out so that if they need some tweaking, I can do it before I post) but I had a work emergency and ended up having to wait until Monday. It almost makes me sound like I’m important at work, but I assure you, I’m not. So I did it on Monday instead. You know it’s a good workout when you’re cursing before the end of the first exercise. I’m terrible at push-ups so why I decided to add a weighted arm-pull to it was beyond me. I pretty much wanted to punch myself in the face. I had to take breaks every 5-6 pushups, mostly because I can’t curse, cry and do a push-up at the same time. Go figure.
I used 12lb dumbbells for the push-ups, step-ups and walking lunges. I set the seated row at 50lbs. My legs were thankfully not sore the next day but felt tired. My abs on the other hand were screaming! It’s a lot of work to hold your core properly, especially with diastisi recti. Let me know what you think if you decide to give it a try!
