After last week’s killer leg circuit that left me feeling like I had bowling balls in my butt cheeks for 2 days, I decided to try something different so that I could still run and not wince on Friday. Also, last week we had a holiday on Monday which meant no work! And no work meant no trip to the gym at work and no arm workout for me. So I decided to combine as much full body burn as I could in the short amount of time I have to workout, shower and get back to my desk relaxed, refreshed and not smelling like day-old sock.
I came up with this quick body blast circuit. It definitely challenged me and left my triceps and shoulders sore in the best possible way! Give it a go and tell me what you think!
What’s great about this is that you make it as hard or easy as you want. I used 12lb dumbbells for the squats, lunges and step-ups. Biceps I used 15lbs and skull crushers I used 8lbs (and nearly broke my face on the last 2 reps).
