The post where Under Armour blows my mind. Again

My first day back at work was tough. The days leading up to it were tough. Driving home that first day, I kept telling myself that I really needed a pick me up. Something random to cheer me up.

When I got home, I most definitely got my wish.

What was waiting for me when I got home from work.

In that beautiful brown box (thoroughly searched by Customs, I might add) was a gift that pretty much blew my mind.

Twice.

Back before Christmas, I wrote a few gift guide posts and one of them happened to be about my favorite fitness apparel brand, Under Armour. Perhaps you’ve heard of them? Nifty little group, I think they’re going places…

Humor aside, I do love that brand and they make regular appearances in my posts and instagram feed. I’m not going to go into all the reasons I love them. You can look them up here and here (among several other mentions) and see my Armour Bra review here.

I was contacted by Under Armour a few weeks ago, saying that they saw my post (yay!) and thanked me for being a loyal customer. They wondered if they could send me a thank you gift. Um…let me think abou….YES! I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was excited.

Nothing says love like a fluorescent sock heart (or a sock flower).

And when I ripped the crap out of that box to see what was inside, I nearly peed my pants. Not only had Under Armour gone over and above my wildest expectations (very much like their customer service whenever I’ve made an online order from them), but everything they sent me were items on my wish list.

Trail running shoes and the brightest, most beautiful running shoes I have ever laid eyes on.

Like I keep saying: blown away.

This top is long so it doesn’t ride up. Awesome!

So from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU Under Amour for making my day/week/month. I feel giddy as a 12 year old at a Bieber concert. Or a nearly 3-year old who managed to get mama’s shoes and gloves on by himself.
