Oh my oh my what a week was had in the Fit house this past week! There were peaks valleys, mountains and mold hills. It was pretty crazy. As I talked about last week, the honeymoon of being a stay-at-home mom is about to end and my last full week home with the kids was a bit discouraging with sickness and such. BUT there were also lots of exciting things going on. Sadly, I can’t really talk about them right now but I’m hopeful that some exciting things are in the works for me and this site this year.
I also had a great week training-wise too. I got 3 runs in, 2 swims (my pack swim on Saturday was EPIC!, I absolutely came alive in my confidence, it was fantastic!). My Sunday run was amazing. Not only did I get out with my BRF but we also ran outside! It’s been well over a month since my shoes hit the out-of-doors. Between illness and freezing cold (-45C with wind) temps, it’s been a challenge for me to motivate myself to get outside. So glad we could suit up and go.
This week is transition week for the kids so I will have some free time while they are at daycare. I’m spending a much needed day out with my mum and hopefully doing some rare day-time swimming and running the other days. If I’m really feeling it, I may even have a nap (I’m human, don’t judge).
I’ll leave you with a few pics from the week.

great job this week!!
