I have to admit, my google reader is overflowing right now. There are just so many blogs that I enjoy reading. Problem is, I don’t have the time to spend an hour reading through all the amazing posts every day. I do my best to catch up on the weekend but sometimes, I fall behind and have to (gasp) delete a feed because I can’t keep up and have about 1000 posts to read.
Here are some of my favourite health and fitness blogs that have a permanent home in my reader:
1. Oh She Glows: This fellow Canadian has one of the most popular plant-based blogs out there and for good reason! Her recipes are amazing, flavourful and filling. Plus, she has a sense of humour which makes her posts fun to read.
2. Another Mother Runner: As a mother runner myself, I love this community. They’re funny, sarcastic and nothing is too TMI for them to talk about. Add to that, they have wicked podcasts that have kept me company (and laughing) on some pretty tough runs. They have two books about running and training that are on my wishlist for this year.
3. Fitness Cheerleader: Janice is one of my bestest buds that I’ve never actually met IRL. I very nearly adore her. As a fellow mom who juggles raising kids, working and staying active, she not only gets *it* but is also pretty freaking amazing and completely inspires me to get off my rear.
4. Running Rachel: Rachel is another good friend that I feel like I’ve known for years but have never met IRL. With 3 boys of her own, she understands the inner workings of the little boy mind. Believe me when I say that it’s great to have an expert to consult. She also balances life as a stay at home Christian mom with being a fitness baddie. She’s seriously amazeballs.
