Under Armour #ArmourBra+ Fit Mom = L.O.V.E.

I was recently contacted by Under Armour to test out their new Amour Bra and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m back running and exercising post-baby #2 and I haven’t bought a new sports bra since prior to baby #1 (remember this bra comparison? I think you can totally tell which one is mine). Let’s just say, a new sports bra is looooooooong overdue. And the fact that this one came from a company that I have purchased clothes from and always been very happy with makes me that much more eager to get my hands on it!

So I’m sure you can imagine my excitement when this showed up on my doorstep:

It wasn’t long before my love was solidified and I was able to give it a test drive on my weekend run.

Not as hawt as the model but not too bad for 11 weeks postpartum if I do say so myself.

At first it felt like the straps were too short. I was a bit concerned because they aren’t adjustable. After doing some quick checks it occurred to me that there was nothing wrong with the straps. It had been so long since I bought a new sports bra that I simply wasn’t used to the feeling of support and fit in my bra.

The test run came on the perfect day: it was sunny and warm. If there was a day that there might be some chaff, this would be it. Off I went for my run and it was awesome! The bra felt fantastic. It held everything in, limited the…er…bounce and didn’t chaff at all. As a breastfeeding mama, let me tell you this is a huge deal! You definitely wanna keep the ta-tas well supported and comfortable at the best of times and especially when you’re breastfeeding.

Of course, since we’re on the topic of breastfeeding, I can’t say often enough how I would love to find a sports bra of this caliber built for nursing mamas because we are definitely a group in need of one. I’m also not the hugest fan of the clasp closure on a bra that pulls over the head but that’s more a testament to my laziness and lack of coordination than anything to do with the bra itself.

Overall, I am very happy with this bra. It’s just fantastic and comfortable and I highly recommend it. This Fit Mom is very impressed, as I am with all my Under Armour gear.

***Under Armour provided me with a free Armour Bra in exchange for this post and review. All opinions are my own.***

I can’t really comment on the bra… ummm… but it looks like it supports the necessary.

  5. Thanks for the review! I have one old UA sports bra I like, but it’s very thin with thin straps, so I don’t use it for running. This one looks perfect!

  6. Nice review. I’ve seen this bra around and I’ve been thinking of trying it out. Waiting to see how my new found training goes though, hoping not to lose too much of the girls.
