Hi guys! How was your week and weekend? Did you take advantage of nice weather or hide from nasty weather? Here in the Fit house, we did both! Saturday was beauuuuuuutiful to both hubby and I took advantage of it and went for a run. Separately since someone had to stay home with the kidlets but we got it done.
While Fit Boy napped, hubby stayed in with Baby O while I finally went out and weeded my garden. It was in serious need of a clean-up to prepare it for planting in just a few short weeks. I’ve already started my seeds indoors and so far, so good. My green thumb isn’t the greatest but I’m determined to grow as many of my own veggies this summer as possible. I’m trying herbs for the first time too since I use them so much in cooking. Fingers crossed for a good harvest!

Sunday was gloomy and pouring rain so we hunkered down inside and relaxed. This was also very much needed. Lately, Baby O has been taking hours (and I mean HOURS) to get settled into bed. Lots of rocking, nursing, consoling and late nights have been spent with a crabby, tired little boy. With Fit Boy waking at 6 (also crabby but that’s just how he rolls), there has been precious little sleep the past couple of weeks.
For this week, the plan is much the same. Run 3 days, increase my interval time slightly and the prepare for next weeks recovery week and look into adding in a day of strength training.
