Fast Five Fit Friday

Welcome to another Fast Five Fit Friday on Fit Mom! In it, you’ll be introduced to some awesome Health and Fitness bloggers in the community and find out a few little tidbits about what makes them unique, what they like (or don’t like) about the fitness world and a few little quirks that set them apart from everyone else!

This week’s feature comes to us from Clare Brady, a 24 year old originally from St. Louis and currently living in Dallas, TX. Clare graduated from Notre Dame in 2010 and worked for a shoe company for a few years before recently finding a much more fulfilling role in advertising. She also enrolled at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a holistic health coach and will graduate in April. Things Clare loves: working out, m&ms, Cardinals baseball, and Say Yes To The Dress. Things Clare doesn’t love: coconut, cold weather, movies that are too long.

Fitness Goals for 2012: Complete Jamie Eason’s Live Fit Trainer (Currently in phase two!), try CrossFit, complete 10 days in a row of Bikram Yoga.

Biggest Fitness Brag to Date: I ran a marathon in 4:03 only 17 months after I ran for the first time

Dream race/event to compete in: I hope to run a Tough Mudder this year! Trying to get a team together for the one in Austin this October.

Fitness Inspiration/motivation: other healthy living bloggers! Before finding this community I would have never had the courage to start running, much less run a marathon. I also would have never joined the big boys in the weight room or found out about things like CrossFit.

Favorite workout music/song: Born to Run will always be on my running playlist. Somehow it always comes on at the right time!
