I love a good Protein Powder and many times, it’s not easy to find. I’ve used products that leave a sour taste, metallic flavour or don’t dissolve well, leaving you with a chewy shake (ew).
I’ve used GNC products in the past and have always been very impressed with the quality. They taste great, they mix well and they keep me feeling fuller longer. Most recently, I’ve been given the opportunity to partner with GNC and have been using their Whey Iso Burst Chocolate Protein Powder. Taken from their website:
“Whey ISO Burst contains 39 grams of protein per serving derived from Cross Flow Microfiltered (CFM) Whey Protein Isolate. This high quality whey isolate has an exceptional protein percentage while being very low in fat, carbohydrates and lactose. Whey ISO Burst also contains a balanced array of naturally occurring whey protein microfractions and is an excellent source of essential amino acids.”
I’m no expert when it comes to such matters and like the majority of consumers out there, I look to the quality of the product as it suits and fits my lifestyle. Does it taste good? Is it versatile? Does it fill me up? The other stuff is still important but I need to know that if I invest in a product, it’s not going to sit on my pantry shelf until it expires. I leave the more technical questions to the professionals to answer for me (and for the record, I’ve always found the staff at GNC to be very knowledgeable about their products).
I am very pleased with this powder. Very. It tastes amazing and fulfills my raging sweet tooth. It makes amazing shakes and amps up some other great recipes, taking them to the next level. The best part is that I can sneak it into recipes without hubby knowing about it

The only thing I found odd was that there was no pre-measured scoop in the tub. I’m thinking this may have been an oops at packing time because anything I’ve ever bought from GNC has always included a scoop. But that was really the only thing and it’s a minor tidbit at that. Overall, I am extremely impressed and needing to head back to the store to re-stock because I’m almost out!
