So my last week has been a bit haywire. I’ll save the specifics for another post but I have spent the last 4 days and nights in hospital battling a 103 fever and lots of bleeding that my doctors were trying to figure out. It was eventually related back to my c-section and after another minor surgery to correct this, I’m finally back at home where I belong.
With that said, there really isn’t much to report since I haven’t been able to eat much and have been sleeping a lot more as I try to recover from this. As the baby seems to have the same stomach sensitivities that Fit Boy had, there have been some changes I’ve had to make on things that seem to be triggering his stomach upset. I’ve so far removed dairy and peanut butter along with the typical other gassy foods like broccoli, cabbage etc. This seems to have made a huge difference for him, which makes it a worthwhile sacrifice for me. Like, Fit Boy, Mr. O will likely be good to go by the 3 month mark and I will be able to slowly re-incorporate these foods back into my diet. It’s a bit of a pain but it’s also the best opportunity I have to really make a move to the cleanest eating I have done yet. If there is anything I have learned in the past 3 months, it is that there is always good that comes with the bad and I am going to do my best to turn the last week and baby O’s tummy issues into the most positive experience possible.
Back for more next week. Baby O will be 1 month old, which means updated pictures and a weigh-in! Stay tuned!

Hugs! You are handling all that has happened these past 8 weeks like a champ! Your strength is such an inspiration!
What a great attitude. Hope you and the little one are feeling back to normal soon!
Get well soon xxx
