Motivation Monday: Rollin’ in the Deep

How was everyone’s week last week? Short work week for most and I have to say that unlike most short work weeks, this one actually felt short. We had another scorching hot week in the Prairies that really reminded me that we’ve had a great summer but that I am more than ready for fall. My wish is clearly being granted because this week, we are going to be cold! I might actually have to run out and buy Fit Boy a hat to keep his ears warm in the morning. Crazy, but I’m (almost) looking forward to the brisque fall air.

Last week was another awesome week for my movin’n’groovin’. Total movement clocked was 29kms! So close to 30! I wish I’d paid more attention to get that one last little km in there (I’m all about even numbers!). That puts my total for this year up to: 318km this year! Only 182km to go!

The bump has also decided to make itself very well known. In the span of 2 weeks, I’ve gone from “she looks like she’s put on a few pounds” to “Holy Crap that chick’s gotta baby brewin’!”. There is no hiding this little person any longer. I’m also noticing that I am hungry…nay, starving! All. The. Time. I could eat 24/7.  At the rate I’m going, Fit Boy is going to start resembling a tasty steak to me soon. Eek!

Otherwise, things are gonig well. I’m moving, I’m feeling pretty good and in a week and a half, I will finally get to see what this little person looks like!
