Lately, my tummy hasn’t been too happy as it grows, expands and revolts, all in the name of baby-growing. But when it is feelin’ good, I love me a good smoothie. The problem is that I’m really careless and rough with my blenders and I tend to break them and push them past their limits in an almost abusive way.

Last year, when Fit Boy was just gearing up for solid food goodness, I convinced my hubby to allow us to purchase a Vita-Mix. For the amount of money they cost, it was definitely an investment for us but I was determined to have one.

I have to say, it’s been a little piece of heaven in my kitchen ever since the day we brought that big box home with us

I normally don’t get overly excited about appliances (other exception would be my Stand Mixer which I may or may not write some prose about another time) but this bad boy really revved me up! It made the process of making baby food so easy, hiding a few extra “surprises” in hubby’s dinner a laugh, and smoothies for me a dream come true. I did manage to break it (my fault, I misread something) and the customer service is fantastic! They sent a pre-paid shipping label for me to send my poor Mighty-Vity to them and they sent it back good as new in no time. The 7 year warranty is a wonderful thing to have.

Yes…I have blender love. It’s true. I’m almost a snob about it. Anything that can liquify spinach for my smoothie is well worth the dollars I spent.
