Motivation Monday

What a week! It’s been one that’s been full of highs and emotions and all kinds of craziness!

I’m still glowing over completing my half marathon and that I not only completed it, but did so nearly 3 minutes faster than my dream time of 2:30 (whenever I gear up to run a race I set a goal time and a dream time. My goal is to ultimately run a half in under 2:15, my dream is to run one in under 2:00). It was such an incredible feeling, inspite of the snow, high winds and the fact that I was very under-prepared, I’m still so proud of myself!

We also officially sold our house this week which is SUCH a relief! Having to be out of the house, sometimes on a moment’s notice with a 14-month old was not fun times. To his credit, he was a trooper until the night before we accepted offers when he completely and utterly lost it. Can’t say I blame him. To celebrate, we spent my day off on Wednesday trashing the house. There was not a inch of floor that wasn’t covered with toys, clothes, blankets and one little boy happily making a mess of it all.

And to finish off the week, I am geared up to be playing the role of Drill Sargent for the George Foreman 90 day Ambassador Challenge starting May 9! I was so excited and honoured when I was asked to do this and I am very much looking forward to working with the 10 amazing bloggers that are taking part in this.

Have a fantastic week!
