Well my training these past couple of weeks has been a bit craptastic. I haven’t run in nearly 2 weeks because I’ve been sick with a sore throat and now a cold. We’ve also had our first big storm and there’s a ton of ice under the snow. I think there’s enough packed down now that I’ll be able to head out when I get over the hump of this darn cold. I have still done my swimming lessons and it’s been going ok. I feel myself getting stronger in some regards but not in others (I’m looking straight at YOU front crawl…). This last Sunday, I swam 30 laps (or 550 meters). It was on and off over the course of the hour but I did it and it was fantastic! I think starting next week, it’s going to be a minimum of 30 laps per lesson and gradually increasing (eeks!).
So here’s hoping that I am back in tip top shape soon and can start my winter running!
