Bondi Band-Review & Giveaway!

I’m one of those people who should never shave their head. Seriously. I have the most misshapen head out there. One of my biggest frustrations with the shape of my head (just for the record, it’s not freakish or anything. No scary monster head here…), NOTHING stays on it other than hats. Headbands of all shapes and sizes fall off within minutes. This is a real bummer for me because I cannot stand to have my hair falling in my face when I’m exercising. I sweat like a dude so keeping my hair out of my face is essential to my own comfort. I have tried pretty much everything out there but nothing ever stays put. I’m constantly having to stop and readjust it or pick it up off the ground and put it back on. Not cool. I tried those “non-slip” bands and not only did they fall off just as quickly, they managed to rip out some of my hair in the process.

Enter Bondi Band. The simple premise of Bondi Bands is to offer comfy, colorful, and creative headbands to fit every lifestyle and personality. By using stretchy and breathable material, this allow Bondi Bands to fit virtually every head size comfortably and fashionably.

They graciously sent me a band to try. I was excited but in the back of my mind, worried that I would have to write a review saying that it, like everything else I’ve tried, doesn’t live up to the expectation and slips of my head. No need for such worries (cue the Hallelujah)! I have FINALLY found a band that stays on my head! I’m completely serious. I’ve been wearing it running, to the gym and around the house and this baby stays put! I’ve even worn it while playing with my nearly 8 month old son and it stays in place. What I love even more about it is that it is moisture wicking so I don’t have sweat dripping down my face after a good hard run and it is so incredibly light, that I often forget that I’m even wearing it. That is a sign of a great fitness product. And if that wasn’t enough, they have dozens of different bands with some seriously awesome verbiage on them. My band says “Pain is Inevitable, Misery is Optional”…LOVE!

What makes this company stand out, aside from it’s awesomeness is its belief in giving back. Every year, they donate 10% of their pretax profits to charity.

And now YOU have the opportunity to win one of these fantastic bands. I am giving away a black Bondi Band that says “Fit Happens” (I KNOW!!) Here’s how to enter:

  1. I want a Bondi Band because a) they’re adorable and b) no head bands work for me while I’m running, and my bangs are in that weird stage of growing out where I can’t do anything to keep them out of my face!

  2. Oh Gosh! I MUST have this, because my son says that I can’t wear apparel that says $hit happens **winks**

    FIT HAPPENS! But of course!

And yes – I like you very very much on FB & occasionally stalk you on TW & Subscribe to RSS

  3. I want a bondi band cause so far I haven’t found a headband that can stay on my head while working out besides for the little plastic ones that really start to hurt after a while! Oh and I follow bondi band on twitter and like them on fb!

  4. I would love to try one of these bands! I just ran my first half marathon in a hat (to keep sweat out of eyes) and got such a headache from it. This is a cute headband and I bet it would work perfectly for me!

I follow you on Twitter and will follow Bondi Band as well! Thanks!

  5. I want to win a Bondi Band because I have bangs. And when walking or working out they get in my eyes, ok, they always are in my eyes, I use a bobby pin sometimes but it doesn’t work that great! Bondi Band would be awesome for working out!

  6. I, like you, have a difficult time keeping things in my hair! It’s long, curly and impossible! I could really use this Bondi Band!

  7. I’d love a Bondi Band because I have serious hair issues! My hair flops and flies everywhere when I work out. And like you – nothing stays on my head! :( Not even ponytails. Come on, right?!

  8. I want one because I have bangs that are somewhat growing out and they are always falling in my face when I work out!
